some businesses didn't come up. it's a scam and if the physical gift cards don't work in stores, i will be extremely angry.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} When the app updated a year or two ago, this capability was taken away. I have found Gyft to be immensely helpful in tracking gift card balances without having to carry around a piece of paper. i hope that nobody else makes the mistake of downloading this app. i tried to reset my password, but i once again got a "gyft not available" message. i immediately grabbed all my gift cards from the trash can just in case. things began getting fishy when the app made me log in every time i entered it, but i figured it was just a security thing. when i went in the app again, it wouldn't let me log in. They need to step their game up before someone makes an app that blows this one away! i tried entering a new gift card a few hours after i got the app and it kept saying "validation error" even though the codes were correct and i had checked the balance on the website so i knew the card was fine. i decided to read the reviews and was appalled. I really wish the developers would switch back to how it worked before. {PARAGRAPH}{INSERTKEYS}I was in need of a system for logging all of my gift cards and tracking each of their balances, because I have a tendency to not keep them all together in one physical place, and also because - who has time to do math and keep track of multiple card balances while on-the-go? For me, this has been a huge drawback, as I can no longer use the app as my one-stop-shop for tracking all gift cards. Upgrading the app and fixing it up with a wardrobe change, makeover, whatevs just a few things need adjusting to make this app a great one including more merchants, especially the big names. Bottom line is i immediately entered all my gift cards that i could. A few years ago, I would have given this app a full 5-star review because, at the time, it also allowed me to upload cards manually such as Visa gift cards. i attempted to download the cards to apple wallet so i could delete the app so nothing happened, but i kept receiving the message "gyft not available".
